It was in the year 2000 that the owners Ian and Lesley Soulsby purchased the barns at Woodyhyde.

As agricultural barns they had been derelict for about 5 years so the cows and sheep were long gone and the dilapidated barns were in a poor state of repair. Planning consent for their conversion followed enabling the creation of four houses.

The Courtyard is by far the largest property where three adjoining brick built barns around the main farmyard area were converted into what is now the main part of the living accommodation. Attached is a more modern style 1960s barn that has recently been totally renovated and re-fitted to provide additional living accommodation and the leisure facilities of pool, sauna and games room.

There are three other neighbouring converted barns one of which is occupied by the owners.
